In 2023, N.I.P paired up with renowned artist Jonathan Jay Lee in coming up with 3 special mahjong labels for this special edition. The three labels combine to a full illustration and a set of the red, green and white dragon, which are also key tiles to the famous three scholars set. This special edition again combines a new set of 8 botanicals, inspired by ingredients traditionally indulged during the festivities of Lunar New Year. They include, Tieguanyin (a premium Chinese oolong tea named after the Iron Goddess of Mercy), osmanthus, aged tangerine peels, juniper berries, mandarin peels, almonds, black dates and ginger.
Profile and use
Flora, sweet, tea and spices. A new unique and distinctive combination of Chinese botanicals, suitable for sipping, and simple gin tonics/sodas to pair with festive foods in the Chinese New Year.
